I couldn't agree more! This place is my little Healdsburg secret. I send friends and family here for the enzyme facial when they need pampering. Everyone comes back with rave reviews. They look like they have new skin. I've often had treatments from Tobi, the owner, and she is the most soothing, calming presence. She talks soft, she moves gently, and she rubs your feet while the enzymes are doing their work. Another thing I love: they NEVER try to push a lot of products on you. On the contrary, if you ask, they give you tiny free samples to see how your skin reacts. The Arcona products are some of the best I've ever tried: all natural, and they actually seem to work. I've gone back for certain serums that seemed to make a change in my skin. Flor at the front desk is very sweet. And they have twice donated very generous packages to my sons' public school fundraising auction. The upshot: small, intimate, well-run, local business with a real focus on service.

Akoia Day Spa is very unassuming from the front, so you may not expect the amazing treatment you will get once you are inside! It is a soothing and relaxing environment and they provide top-notch services. I went with a friend, and we both left feeling that we had had the best massages we had ever had. She had the Deep Tissue massage and I had the Sumunprai Herbal Poultice Massage with Coco. Amazing! I hope to have the opportunity to return to Akoia sometime in the future.

I've been here many times now and I love it! I used to have horrible unbearable skin now I glow! I'm so much more confident! Everyone notices! Their products are great, all natural no parabens- which is important to me. It's such a delightful little getaway. The atmosphere is calming and definitely my private oasis.

I've been to other spas for facials and massages before; however this spa has been my absolute favorite so far! I got an Enzyme facial and my skin has never felt better! I started using the Arcona products they sell and everyone keeps complementing on how great my skin looks! I'm excited about this place and will continue to be a client and recommend this place to anyone looking for a little R&R! :) Not to mention their massages are awesome!!! :)

My experience at Akoia was fabulous. Firstly, Flor was super patient with my sister and I (i think we changed our appointment 3 times!) My facial (with McKenzie) was fantastic and I loved the fact it came with a foot, hand, AND neck massage. I then went in for a Deep Tissue massage with Siabri (sp?)---she was AMAZING! I came out of there feeling all limp and gooey. I would highly recommend this day spa--its facilities are simple (no steam room or showers), but their service more than makes up for it.

This is a clean, beautiful little spa. The staff are super nice and down to earth. I had a pregnancy massage, facial and body scrub there. My massage was great. My massage therapist was so accommodating of my giant belly, and was able to give me a great massage despite the fact that I could not lay on my stomach. My facialist was very gentle, yet thorough and my skin felt great afterwards. Their prices were also very good compared to most places I have been I have been to in the bay area.

A group of friends and I went to Akoia Day Spa and had such a wonderful experience, the spa is beautiful and the treatments were amazing, the beds are warm and inviting! the best facial I have ever had!! and my friends agree, the all loved their massages and body scrubs. We will definatly come back.
